Zamara Foundation Intersectional Feminist Leadership Institute (ZaFLI) cohort 4 application form

Zamara Foundation

Are you an aspiring African intersectional feminist eager to ground your work in feminist values and principles? Do you believe in sexual health and reproductive justice? If so, we invite you to join our fourth cohort at the Zamara Foundation Intersectional Feminist Leadership Institute (ZaFLI). Designed for young women in all their diversities aged 18-29 from Nairobi, Kajiado and Kisumu, ZaFLI offers a space for reflection, introspection, and growth. At Zamara Foundation, we believe in feminist and transformational leadership for young women and girls in all their diversities. Our program equips participants with the tools to understand systems of power and their perpetuation of inequalities, fostering a deep political consciousness and a solid understanding of power, oppression, and social identities.

ZaFLI aims to build a community of bold, audacious advocates for sexual and reproductive justice in Kenya. Through an intersectional lens, participants will learn to critically analyze their circumstances, make connections, and develop strategies for change. Our goal is to nurture young feminists who use intersectionality in their work and lead transformative efforts in their communities. Through this program, we hope to cultivate sisterhood and solidarity among diverse groups of young women, building their agency to drive meaningful change. Join us and be part of our fourth ZaFLI cohort!

Deadline: 30th July 2024
